Lien Pilate doesn't own a car. Her i:SY is her daily transport. She started on an S8 and now rides an i:SY E5. Commuting, grocery runs, meeting up with friends. Everything on two wheels. Around 4,000 kilometres a year.
It all started in 2021, on the advice of Jan at XTR-shop. Lien wasn't sure exactly what she was looking for, but after one test ride she was sold.
“I'm quite small, so Jan recommended the i:SY. It makes me feel safe and stable, because I feel lower to the ground. And those wider tyres give an extra solid feel.”
Favourite accessory
A tough choice, because Lien has quite a few i:SY accessories. But if she really has to pick one? The Trunkbag. Extra lock, hi-vis vest, everything she needs on the go fits inside. Easy to use and quick to access.
Three words
If Lien had to describe her i:SY in three words: stable, cheerful (all those great colours!) and customisable.
Wildest adventure
Manoeuvring easily through all the roadworks is a breeze on an i:SY. While others are stuck waiting, Lien glides right through.
Standing out on the street
By now, plenty of neighbours and colleagues are riding an i:SY too. Lien gets stopped on the street all the time. People are immediately curious. Does it ride well? Can it fold? Her yellow bike gets extra attention.
